Control your mobile with your eye - A1
A free program called EVA Facial Mouse allows users to operate devices with their heads without using their hands. Amputations, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) are just a few of the problems that this cutting-edge equipment can help people with.
EVA Facial Mouse is an open-source technology created by CREA in partnership with Fundación Vodafone España and specialists from several organizations within the ASPACE Confederation in Spain. Its creation demonstrates a dedication to inclusive technology, since both experts and consumers contributed to guarantee its efficacy in meeting a range of accessibility requirements.
Functionality and user interaction
The EVA Facial Mouse tracks and monitors the user's head motions using a front-facing camera, converting them into actions with the mouse cursor on the screen. This makes it a useful tool for people with limited mobility because it enables users to navigate and manage their gadgets without using physical input. The application does not support many common external keyboards, but it does provide a simple on-screen keyboard that users must manually enable after installation.
